ICA is organizing the second global fair for the co-operative movement: ICA ExpoCoop 2010.

ICA EXPOCOOP – The World Co-operatives Exhibition – is a landmark in our efforts to promote co-operative business as well as to create a greater visibility for co-operatives with main focus on food, beverage and products. The fair provides participants with the strengthening of the co-operative image and brings about business opportunities and commercial benefits. Aimed at gathering the world's most renowned co-operatives in a single space, the movement's main trade fair encourages the sector’s exports and imports by attracting a highly qualified public interested in their products.

Objectives

• Promotion and generation of growth for the co-operative business with main focus on food, beverage and products

• Expansion and practice of inter-co-operation by means of strategic alliances

• Commercial development by promoting economic policies, professional update, business opportunities, access to new trends and strengthening of the contact network

• Creation of economic tools for competition amongst co-operative products on a worldwide level

• Presentation of the co-operative values and principles at the Fair Trade business, helping buyers decide for co-operative products

• Generation of positive financial results, time optimization and costs reduction on selling actions
